A family vacation marking a major anniversary turned into a desperate search when 56-year-old Thomas Gigler disappeared aboard the Carnival Panorama. Gigler, a computer programmer and father of three, was traveling with his wife, Michelle, 48, and their sons as the ship sailed from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, toward Long Beach, California.
